Chris Broussard: “If I was in Stephen Curry’s shoes, I would’ve traded the 2 rings with Durant for that 73 win title. But, if I were Klay Thompson I wouldn’t, because I think it would’ve damaged Klay’s legacy more than Steph’s. A lot of people look back at 2015, and say if Kyrie and Kevin Love weren’t hurt; the Cavaliers would’ve won that title. Winning in 2016 would’ve put that debate to rest. Plus, they would’ve done it without Durant. Granted, had they won, I don’t think KD would’ve gone there at all.”
Rob Parker: “I wouldn’t do it at all. I’m not giving up any championships, however I respect that they acknowledge that it is a blemish on that season. But giving up two for one, is not a great deal for me.”
